I am a classically trained 2D animation artist, director and lecturer with over 40 years' experience.

 

I studied at the Instituto del Cinema in Italy and cut my teeth working as an inbetweener at the world-renowned Bozzetto Studios in Milan.

I've worked with leading international advertising agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, and Hunt Lascaris, to name a few.

I worked at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank Los Angeles lending my skills to various projects, including The Lion King, Donald Duck – The Adventures of Maui Millard, and Gargoyles videogames.

In July 2007, I was invited to attend Master Classes in Animation at both Gobelin School of Animation in Paris and in New York with Richard Williams.

I also lectured animation courses at the Animation School Cape Town and City Varsity. 

​

Most recently, I was the Storyboard Supervisor on the animated feature film Khumba, the live-action feature film Samson, and Animation Director for the 3D DSTV television commercial African Christmas.
